- Fees are payable before each consultation.
- Funded options may be available for some patients, depending on eligibility criteria and triage assessment.
- Our reception and nursing team will be able to advise you.
Napier Urgent Care is an independent service.
As we do not receive the same funding as enrolled GP practices, or hospital-based services, our co-payments are different and may be higher.
From 4 August 2026, some patients aged 14-24 may need to pay a co-payment when visiting Napier Urgent Care.
We have been advised by HHB PHO that the funding model for Zero Fee Urgent Care services for rangatahi has changed.
This means Napier Urgent Care will need to introduce a co-payment for some rangatahi aged 14-24. This change applies if you are aged 14 -24, visit Napier Urgent Care and do not live in a quintile 5 area in Hawkes Bay.
From 1 August 2026, the co-payments will be:
- If you are aged 14-24 and have a Community Services Card: $20.00
- If you are aged 14-24 and do not have a Community Services Card $67.00
