Wait Times
We always strive to provide timely care, and it is never our intention to delay treatment. However, factors such as staff illness, availability, or high patient volumes and complexity can sometimes result in longer wait times than we would like.
The following colour codes provide a guide only to possible delays. These are only estimates, and we encourage all patients to present to Napier Urgent Care so we can triage you promptly.
Code Karaka
Please be aware that only one doctor is available, so wait times for non-urgent care may be longer than usual
Code Whero
Please be aware that no doctors are available; we will be providing a nurse-led triage service.
